What a week!

It's been one of those weeks where I'm going full steam ahead AND big things are happening.

I've been interviewing several teachers form my podcast, The Improv Teachers and while it does take time it recharges me in so many ways. To connect from people literally across the globe who love improv as much as I do brings so much joy to my day and I'm excited for you all to hear these really great interviews as the roll out over the next several months.

I've been working on budgets and calendars! It's the part of the improv gig that is the least creative and yet so important. Even more so now that I have officially added space to AdLib. For the past several years we've been using the space across the courtyard as an auxiliary classroom and greenroom. I am now going to lease it full time along with the theater space.

So I've doubled our operational costs and it's scary as hell and exciting because it's another sign of the major growth we've made this year. Honestly, if you said this was what would be happening in my life a year ago I would have rolled my eyes and walked away. It really is amazing what can happen in 12 months and I'm so grateful for all of it. I've grown, learned, and just humbled and excited for the future!

In addition to those big milestones, I've been at the theater every night. I'll put in 6 nights in a row and finally take a deep breath on Sunday and then repeat again next week. It's a lot for sure but considering nearly a decade ago I was desperately figuring out where and when I could perform next, I'm smiling ear to ear. I am providing opportunities for so many artists to never have to worry about having a safe space to play and growing a community so even more people can join us!

So yeah, it's been a week but I'm grateful for the work!
